Luka Dental Care is a registered provider for the Canadian Dental Care Plan, at 2101 Aldersbrook Road in London, Ontario. If you have the plan, you book with us the same way as any other patient.

Yes. We are a registered CDCP provider and we are taking new patients. When you call to book, tell us you have the plan.
To qualify, all four of these must apply:
Applications for the 2026 to 2027 benefit period are open. You can apply through My Service Canada Account, online on Canada.ca, or by phone at 1-833-537-4342.
There is no fee to apply or to renew. The plan lets you know by mail once your application is done.
The CDCP covers a wide range of everyday and major dental care:
Some care needs the plan to say yes before treatment starts. This is called preauthorization. Crowns, partial dentures and a second root canal on the same tooth all need it.

Orthodontics is not covered, so braces and clear aligners are paid for another way. If you are not sure whether a treatment is covered, ask us before your visit.
The plan pays a share of its own set fee for each service. The share depends on your adjusted family net income:
If a dentist’s fee is higher than the plan’s set fee, the difference can be charged to you. Before you agree to any treatment, we tell you what the plan will and will not cover. That way you know your share first.
Your first visit starts like any checkup with us. We look at your teeth and gums, take the x-rays you need, and talk you through what we find.
If you need more care, we explain your options and what each one costs, including the part the plan pays. Anything that needs approval from the plan gets sent before we begin.
